"Stayed at Haven Hollow 5/1 on our way to AZ. Location is approx 10 miles from the interstate but an easy drive and worth getting to for the setting and the quiet surroundings. We enjoyed our quiet restful night there. Thanks Haven Hollow for hosting us." ~Peggy W. (May 2024)

"Campground is a quiet lovely place with great wooded views. Walked the nice grassy path around the place and fed some chickens with feed the host supplies. Host was friendly and very nice. We did self-checkin and worked great. Nice gravel parking spots; hook-ups were good. We used water, electric and waste." ~Sandra S. (May 2024)

"This my first experience living in an RV and Jason and DeLisa were the perfect hosts. The grounds are well maintained and the hookup sites are convenient and easy to hook up to. Also, it's my first experience in the country for me and my dog, a little scary at first but we learned to love it. I felt safe there." ~Lori Y. (Jun 2024)

"We spent one night here while traveling. The hosts were awesome! The park is small. The sites are back-in only. The sites are gravel with grassy areas. All the sites look out onto a field. The hosts have a beautiful vegetable garden, and have built a chicken pen that resembles a town. The area is very quiet. We would definitely stay here again!" ~Lacreta C. (Jun 2024)

"A very nice place, on your way in you are greeted by a canopy of trees, the lot is amazing, a pond, fireflys, picnic tables, very comfortable, and the owners are awesome!! We give them an A++" ~Eric V (Jun 2024)

"wild flower meadows with mowed walking paths chickens, gardens, eggs for sale, picnic table with umbrellas, fire pits, electric, water and sewer. Two miles of gravel road to get there. Six miles to Super Walmart. Good parking. nice small park but appears to be expanding." ~Linda P. (Jun 2024)

"Haven Hollow is certainly a Haven. The beautiful pond and adorable chicken coop city are just the start. There are awesome trails with butterflies dancing on the flower tops! The parking was flat and really easy to get into. The owner has great communication which made the check in smooth. We opted to stay a few extra nights due to the storm and it was easy to adjust and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We also purchased 2 dozen fresh eggs. They are truly delicious!" ~Lacey W. (Jul 2024)

"Haven Hollow is a quaint environment with a huge meadow, chickens to feed, lots of wild flowers, picnic table’s with umbrellas, and fire pits including wood and great views. The spots have full hookups if you need them. I had accidentally put in the wrong date (a date one day early) which they graciously corrected for me. Definitely one of my favorite Harvest Host stops!" Valerie B. (Jul 2024)

"Thank you Jason and DeLisa for a beautiful and quiet stay. We especially enjoyed playing with the chickens . We would absolutely stay here again." ~Shirley F. (Jul 2024)

"A little off the beaten path, with a drive down a gravel road but, very drivable. Easy access with a turn-around. Boondock spot is a straight back it while regular hookups are blind backs. Peaceful spot." ~Dov  K. (Jul 2024)

"Great communication with these “if we build it, they will come” hosts! We had a level spot with power, water, and great Wi-Fi with a few other RVs as quiet neighbors. Would stay again!" ~Robin C. (Aug 2024)

"Haven Hollow is amazing! The Hollands are such fantastic hosts! This was our first camping trip in our (new to us) camper. We were welcomed by other guests and Host Jason even came and helped us trouble shoot when we had a water heater problem. Our kids loved running through the trails. The picnic tables and fire pit are clean and convenient. All utilities were maintained and easy to use. Thank you for making this a great first trip for us. You will not be disappointed if you visit Haven Hollow! We will definitely be back." ~Angie B. (Aug 2024)

"Delisa our host was very responsive to us regarding all our questions. The road has some big hills, but would not keep us from going again. All sites have FHU if you chose to use them. Every site has a picnic table with umbrella and a fire pit. Firewood is available for a fee. We walked around the property a bit and visited the chickens. We bought electricity($15) and eggs($3/dozen). When the sun went down we enjoyed the dark sky and stars. Thanks, Delisa!!" ~Marcia V. (Sep 2024)

"What a great spot off the beaten trail. The steep hilly roads made it a little difficult to travel there, but 1) that’s Missouri and 2) it was worth it to get there. RV spots were level, wide and long, nicely cared for. We walked some trails, bought some eggs, fed the chickens, watched them bail hay. It was a really enjoyable stay." ~Richard L. (Sep 2024)

"We stayed one night and enjoyed the darkness (but not too dark) of the spot at night, which allowed great star gazing which is one of our favorite things to do at sites. The area was very calm, clean and hosts had good communication. thank you." ~Christina S. (Sep 2024)

"Pro, great owners/hosts, very quiet, clean, neat and very dark at night. Cons, all back in sites are angled the wrong way and have to blind side into site. Also need to tell people you are on a dirt road. Less than 2 miles of dirt, but very dusty, and our toad was a mess when we arrived. Due to the dirt road we would not stop here again." ~Larry & Barb G. (Sep 2024)

"This is really a nice campground in the middle of nowhere. the nights where dark and the sky was great. The Host was great and we look forward to stay here again." ~James B. (Sep 2024)

"Very quiet, hook ups were awesome. Host response is very quick. Only stayed one night so we didn't get a chance to meet the host personally." ~Judy R. (Sep 2024)

"appreciated taking us same day! nice park you have!" ~Pam P. (Sep 2024)

"Lovely spot. They have done a great job setting this up. Well laid out with lots of space between spaces. I’d go back. And don’t let the country road to get there deter you. They even have a tornado shelter." ~Heather A. (Sep 2024)

"Very nice, small RV park. spot was super easy to get into and pretty level. Would definitely stay again if passing through this area! can't wait to try our farm fresh eggs!" ~Therese P. (Sep 2024)

"I enjoyed too short of a stay. t Haven Hollow is in a beautiful pastured setting dotted with tractors, chicken coops, a lake, and great RV sites full accommodation. My regret is I only could stay one night although the owners offered more nights." ~Patricia L. (Sep 2024)

"Extremely peaceful and beautiful." ~Michael & Gina H. (Sep 2024)

"The owners have done a nice job with their property, cannot beat the value! peace & quiet, lovely setting" ~Ted & Wendy T. (Oct 2024)

"We chose a full hook up site for $20 and a dozen farm fresh eggs for three dollars. Very quite about a mile on gravel rd. if in the area we would defiantly stay again" ~John S. (Oct 2024)

"WOW what a great find! FHU, nice gravel spot, walking trails, chickens (eggs for sale). Definitely worth the trip. They have big plans here and will come back to see it. Until next time Have Hollow." ~Jamie B. (Oct 2024)

"Unfortunately we arrived at Haven Hollow just as it was getting dark. We communicated several times with the hosts prior to arrival as we had an issue which delayed us by a couple of hours. They were very gracious with quick responses. In the morning, we were better able to view the location and were very impressed. Everything looks practically brand new, including the roads, camping spots, and electric and water hook-ups. We had a great, quiet night's sleep and bought some fresh eggs too. Great experience. We'll be back when we are in the area. Thank you!" ~Paul G. (Oct 2024)

"What an amazing clean private property.. the hosts were just so attentive to every need and communicated well with rules and parking assignments ahead of time.. the only negative I can say is the person in the camper next to mine left his dog alone all days in their camper and that dog barked all day long!!" ~Sugar R. (Oct 2024)

"Everything was fine except the road getting there. Very Dusty and narrow. Never did get to talk to anyone on site or get any eggs. Visited the chickens and left my money for the stay in the check-in area. kinda far from the interstate also. Power, water and sewer hookups were great for a Harvest Host site." ~Jeff V. (Oct 2024)

"was a nice quiet stop was nice it has full hook up but only needed electricity nice walking path to walk around and stretch" ~Rosemarie L. (Oct 2024)

"Clean and spacious spots, very quiet and peaceful. Would stay again." ~Ron K (Oct 2024)

"Grateful for the stay!! Beautiful small campground in a wonderful setting!!" ~David & Babette S. (Nov 2024)

"Nice, quiet location out in the country. The gravel roads leading to the location are narrow and hilly and require taking your time and paying attention. If the roads happen to be dusty, you'll need a coach or car wash afterwards. Totally worth it, though! 30' Class A with a flat tow behind the coach. Hosts were very pleasant." ~Stephen W. (Nov 2024)

"What a gem!! This little RV park is quiet, dark, and peaceful. I met the chickens and took a walk around the property. $20 for FHU was just what I needed for a two night stayover. There is 1 mile of gravel to get here, but it is well maintained ... just go slow and you'll be fine! The host was very kind and helped me get my water hose tight so it would stop leaking!" ~Amy Z. (Nov 2024)

"Second visit and still one of best places we have stayed through Harvest Host. Improvements are fantastic!!!! Thank you Haven Hollow!!" ~Katherine & Kenneth C. (Nov 2024)

"Nice little rv park. Very little light pollution so the stars were amazing!" ~Brian P. (Dec 2024)

"Very nice place. Large back in sites with full hook ups. The area we were at appeared to be new." ~Jennifer & John M. (Dec 2024)

"We loved our stay at Haven Hollow. The campsite was pristine, with electric, water, and waste hookups, which were well worth the small fee. We had no problems with the ride on the dirt road, which was nicely groomed. There is a small culvert you must pass over, but we had no problem. It was SO quiet there! We heard absolutely nothing during the night. We left in the early morning before dawn, and paused for some time looking at the night sky. It was so clear, without any light pollution that we could notice, and we were able to see the Milky Way faintly in the background of the radiant planets and brightly twinkling stars. We highly recommend Haven Hollow. It is well worth the little bit of time it takes from the interstate. We will be back!" ~Janice S. (Dec 2024)
